The sole purpose and mission of the foundation is to provide financial support and raise awareness for those in need and to financially support other charitable organizations. Mets STEAMROLL Yanks, 11-2

In the Mets' blowout of the NY Yankees, Wright went 2-5, with a single and a double, scoring twice.

Despite Joe Morgan's inaccuracy, David's average is on the RISE, now at .283 with a .535 slugging percentage.
Mets top cross-town rivals, 7-4

Wright went 3 for 5 in the Mets' win over their crosstown rivals, with two singles, a home run, two RBI's, and a stolen base.

David scored on Beltran's single in the top of the ninth.

However, it was Wright's turn to knock in some runs in the top of the seventh, when he homered off of Kyle Farnsworth on a 2-2 count, bringing Ryan Church home with him to give the Mets a 6-2 lead.

After the game, David's average jumped to .278 and his slugging rose to .532, which puts him .002 ahead of Ryan Church for the club lead for slugging.
Friday Night's Game... POSTPONED!

The first game of the Mets-Yankees series has been postponed and the game will be made up at a later date. However, this date has not yet been set.

Johan Santana is still scheduled to pitch, however, he will now be matched up against Andy Pettitte.
Another heartbreaking loss: 0-1

On another dismal night in Mets baseball, David went 0-4, only reaching on an error by Austin Kearns.

His average dropped to .268 on the night.
Mets top Nationals 6-3

As the Mets finally got the best of the Nationals, Wright went 2-5, with a single and a double.

After the game, David's average climbed to .277. His slugging percentage continues to rise, resting at .532 by the end of the game.
Mets lose to Nats 4-0

David went 1-3, with one HR, two walks, and two runs scored.

His solo home run in the bottom of the seventh came with one out against Odalis Perez.

After this game, his average jumped slightly to .272, but his slugging percentage continues to rocket, landing at .529.

D-Wright went 1 for 5 with 2 RBI's against Brad Penny and the LA Dodgers, doubling in John Maine and Jose Reyes for the 9th and 10th runs of the game.

David's average is now .265.
